…. I have good memories of Trevor’s visits to the USA and especially when he came to see us either on his way to the Dude Ranch, I think in Wyoming, or coming back from a visit. I have never met another “ British Wannabee Cowboy” quite like Trevor. He loved to go and visit the specialist shops here who sold, authentic clothing, boots, hats and so on and definitely could pass as any cowboy who comes from here, no kidding. He would love to visit with a dear friend of ours from church who was a real authentic cowboy ranch hand for decades and has all his old saddles, harnesses and chaps hanging up in his garage! He has so many tales to tell, but the most striking thing that comes out of them, is the amount of physical stamina these men have to withstand all kinds of weather conditions etc. So when Trevor told us that he wanted to buy an American Quarter horse, I guess I was not surprised.
